Procedure to reflash the SSD on the MFTRv2

Procedure to reinstall the OS:

1. Download the file onto a FAT32 USB drive on your computer

2. Follow the following steps
  • Plug in the USB key with the file "image.bz2" onto the Test Rig.
  • Boot into the "Recovery mode" and select "Root"
  • Type in the below commands:
    • mount -o rw,remount /
    • mkdir /media/usb
    • mount -t vfat /dev/sdb1 /media/usb -o umask=000
    • bzcat /media/usb/image.bz2 | sudo dd of=/dev/sda
  • Wait for around 30 minutes for the process to be over

3. Once software install is complete
  • Remove the USB key from the test rig.
  • Push the power key to turn off and turn on the test rig again
  • Fix the touch
