MFTR Software Upgrade Instructions

Please follow the below mentioned steps to upgrade the Test Rig software:

 

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+T  on the keyboard to launch the terminal.
  2. Please type the command “Killall -9 Mouldflo” and press “ENTER” on the keyboard. (The Test rig application should now close) – [Kill App.png]
  3. Please copy the software the package that you have downloaded from the link above to the root of the USB drive.
  4. Connect the USB drive to the Test Rig PC. (Once a USB drive is connected to the Test Rig PC, a new dialog should automatically pop up)
  5. Note the name of the USB drive [Highlighted in RED] – [USB Name.png]
  6. Install the software by using the below-mentioned command  in the terminal
    1. “sudo dpkg –i  /media/[Please fill the USB drive name here which you have noted down in step 5]/MFTR-deb-package.deb” and press “ENTER” on keyboard – [Update SW.png]
  7. Enter the password  =  1234 and press “ENTER” on the keyboard.
  8. After the software update completes, please type “sudo reboot” on the terminal to reboot the system – [reboot.png]
  9. The Test rig software is now updated.
